Indian PM holds talks with officials in Oman

Muscut : Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met with Omani Deputy Prime Minister Fahad bin Mahmoud Al-Said, discussing means to develop bilateral relations.

The meeting was held on Saturday.

According to the Oman News Agency, Minister Al-Said affirmed that Oman was keen on developing relations with India in all fields possible.

He said that cooperation would meet the interests of both nations.
On his part, Singh expressed similar wishes of developing relations, saying that his meeting with Sultan Qaboos bin Said focused on aspects to develop the Indian-Omani relations.

Singh’s meetings with Omani officials also discussed matters of regional and international importance. The Indian Prime Minister arrived in Muscat on a two-day official visit.
