London : The death of another British soldiers in the Helmand Afghan province have raised the British soldiers’ death toll to 125 in this Asian country, announced the Defense Ministry Sunday.
The soldier died last Saturday when the car in which he was traveling hit an explosive device in Musa Qala District, added the official source in this capital.
This is the 125 death of the British forces in Afghanistan since its arrival in 2001.
There are over 8,000 British soldiers members of the so-called International Security Assistance Forces.
Over two third of British agreed to withdraw the troops deployed in Afghanistan, according to BBC poll published last week.
Sixty eight percent of those polled considered the contingent must return to Great Britain in the next 12 months.
Nevertheless, London media reported over sending of 2,000 new British soldiers to Afghanistan next year.
