He was addressing members of the Central Council of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) at its meeting here Sunday.

The PLO Executive Committee has prepared a four-point document aimed at finding a solution to the Palestinian dispute, Abbas said.

The organisation would need the assistance of the Arab League to bring Palestinians together, he added.

Referring to talks with the Israelis, Abbas affirmed that no agreement has been reached in the negotiations, adding that talks would continue.

The Palestinians are sticking to their rights to form a state in accordance with international law and norms, said Abbas.

On the Arab peace initiative, Abbas said that the plan would ensure the rights of Palestinians and if Israel rejects the plan, then it would be an indication that the Jewish state was not for peace.
