New Delhi : With terror strikes in Mumbai late Wednesday night, officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are trying to convince the England team to continue with the ongoing tour in India.
Five One-day Internationals of the seven-match series have already been played and the BCCI officials are meeting to discuss the future of the series after the England cricket team said it was not willing to travel to Guwahati for the sixth ODI slated for Saturday.
The seventh ODI will be played in Delhi, Tuesday.
“Everyone is curious about the issue. We will issue a statement,” said BCCI secretary N. Srinivasan Thursday.
There is also a possibility of shifting the second and the final Test of the series out of Mumbai.
