“Passengers who have not been able to fly into or out of Mumbai or don’t want to fly there due to the disturbance prevailing in the city can get their fares refunded without any deductions,” a SpiceJet Airlines spokesperson said.

“This waiver is applicable only till Friday,” a Jet Airways spokesperson said.

Air India and Kingfisher Airlines have not made similar offers.

Under normal circumstances, airlines refund fares to passengers only after deducting cancellation charges.

Domestic flights to and out of Mumbai operated as per schedule, but several airlines clubbed flights as many passengers chose not to fly. Some international airlines cancelled their services to and from the terror-hit city.
