Brussels : Higher education officials of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and European Union (EU) members kicked of scheduled meetings here Tuesday.
The meetings, attended by Kuwaiti Higher Education Undersecretary Dr. Rasha Al-Sabah, will discuss the role of education in economic growth and competition, higher education policies, the development of European universities, curriculums and students’ exchange.
Speakers at the meetings include head of the EU’s internal programs and cooperation unit Angelique Verli and deputy director of the “life for Education” program Michael Teusck.
The meeting will be also attended the general director of university education at the Saudi Higher Education Ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Baqmi, advisor at the research and studies center in the Saudi Higher Ministry Dr. Abdulrahman Abuama, the general director of private universities and colleges at the Omani Higher Education Ministry Dr. Saeed Al-Rubaie, the assistant lecturer of constitutional law at the College of Law at the United Arab Emirates University Dr. Hadif Al-Owais, and head of the educational administration at the GCC Secretariat General Mohsen Al-Dusiri.
