A spokesman for the Islamic Jihad’s military wing said the detainees were Hani and Mayssara Kmail, both are 23, who have been wanted by Israel since months.

According to witnesses, Israeli forces stormed Qabatya neighborhood in southwest Jenin last night and stormed the houses of several families believed to have members working for al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad armed wing.

Recently, the Israeli army has tightened its crackdown against the Islamic Jihad activists across the West Bank. The crackdown was part of daily raids in the occupied territory by the Israeli army.

The raids did not stop despite the resumption of peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) nearly one year ago.
