Party office-bearers said Singh will arrive here around 10 a.m. by a special plane and will chair a series of meetings. He will go through the draft manifesto prepared by a party committee headed by Revenue minister Brijmohan Agrawal.

Singh will also hold meetings with key state-level party leaders, besides Chief Minister Raman Singh, to approve the party’s candidates for the elections.

The BJP-ruled Chhattisgarh goes to polls along with five other states in November-December to elect a new 90-member assembly.
