Baghdad : A security source told KUNA the fiery blast that rumbled across the densely-populated city targeted the motorcade of Mahmoud Al-Sheikh Radhi who survived the bid on his life.
The blast however inflicted heavy and extensive damage in the region, turning many nearby cars into smouldering wreckage and skeletons of metal.
Nearby stores were also badly damaged in the blast that occurred at the morning rush-hour.
