New Delhi : Replying to India’s first inning total of 613 for 7 wickets declared, Australia were 50 without loss at stumps on the second day of the third cricket Test at the Feroz Shah Kotla here Thursday.
Indian innings featured double centuries by opener Gautam Gambhir (206) and V.V.S. Laxman (200 not out), his second double hundred in Tests.
Matthew Hayden (16 batting) and Simon Katich (29 batting) played out 16 overs left after India’s declaration.
