Mumbai : The Ranji Trophy match between Assam and Bengal, which was to be played at Guwahati from Nov 3-6, has been postponed following the serial blasts that rocked the city Thursday.
“In view of the serial bomb blasts at Guwahati and the prevalent conditions thereafter, it has been decided to postpone the Ranji Trophy match scheduled to be played there,” Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) secretary N. Srinivasan said in a statement Friday.
Guwahati and three other districts of Thursday had 11 bomb blasts in quick succession, killing 68 people.
