Two Bajrangis arrested for threatening VHP leader Vedanti

Lucknow: Two Bajrang Dal activists have been arrested for threatening senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Ram Vilas Vedanti.

Vedanti who is an important leader of VHP since 1984 was threatened on August 30th on his mobile phone. UP police tracked that threatening call to Katra, a small town in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh.

Two peoples arrested for making the threatening call are Ramesh Tiwari who is the city president of Bajrang Dal and Pawan Pandey of Hindu Yuva Vahini.

Vedanti represented Pratapgarh (UP) constituency in 11th and 12th Lok Sabha on BJP ticket.
