Islamabad : Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and British Justice Secretary Jack Straw met here Tuesday and discussed the issues of bilateral interest.
Jack Straw, who is currently visiting Pakistan called on Prime Minister Gilani at the PM House and held with him talks on improving relations between Pakistan and United Kingdom.
Straw said his country wanted to see Pakistan as a strong and stable nation.
The Prime Minister hoped that relationship between the two countries would further strengthen in the days to come.
Jack Straw’s visit is intended to help deepen Pak-UK co-operation on judicial and legal issues like human rights and legal reforms.
He visited Pakistan for several times in the past as a British Foreign Secretary.
