Following the revealations made by Zahid Qutubbdin Sheikh, the police late Friday went to the double-storey building in Al Ahmedi Society, near Nabinagar at Narol on the outskirts of the city and recovered bomb-making material including timers, batteries, detonators, power supply cables attached to batteries and polythene bags for packing bombs.

Maps depicting exact locations where the bombs were to be planted were also found, the officials said.

They said the car that came from Mumbai and was used in the two blasts at the Civil Hospital and the L.G. Hospital here on July 26 had been parked at this house before the attack.

Police said the bombs that went off in the city were fabricated in this house and meticulous planning was conducted here for the foot soldiers to place them at different locations.

The officials also said the two terrorists killed by the Delhi Police in a shootout Friday had also stayed in this house and had helped in the bomb-making.

The Gujarat Police has managed to nab 21 suspects so far in connection with the July 26 blasts that claimed 56 lives.
