Hyderabad : Maytas Infra Ltd, a city-based construction and infrastructure development company, Monday announced that it has bagged two orders totalling Rs.4.81 billion ($104.5 million) for electrification of three districts in Maharashtra.
Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co Ltd (MSEDC) has given Maytas order of Rs.2.15 billion for electrification of Beed and Nanded districts of Latur zone, and of Rs.2.66 billion for electrification of Ahmednagar district of Nashik zone under infrastructure development plan, said a company statement here.
“This is a significant deal for Maytas Infra and clearly heralds us as a major force to reckon with in the power sector. We are confident of executing this project on schedule and with high standards of safety and environmental norms,” Maytas Infra chief executive P.K. Madhav said.
