Abu Dhabi : The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) of UAE has started distribution of Eid clothing and Fitr Al Zakat besides organizing Ramadan programs at cost 15 million Dirhams to the needy categories with advent of last 10 Ramadan days. Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al Kaabi, board chairman of the RCA, said that the plans were as per scheduled in line with the ambitious objective to cover all the targeted categories in line with the instructions from President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, WAM reported.
Mohammed Habroosh Al Rumaithi, deputy secretary general for local affairs at the RCA, said the RCA has completed preparations to execute the Al Fitr alms and Eid clothing at initial cost 2.2 million Dirhams, adding that this budget will increase soon, as many philanthropists will pay their alms to the RCA’s project.
