Dubai : The Islamic Affairs and Charity Department of Dubai launched in the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan a forum titled: “Dialogue with Non Muslims”. Huda Al Ka’abi, acting director of the awareness and religious guidance section at the department, said the forum was launched with the beginning of Ramadan at city centers, Mercato, Wafi and Emirates Mall, WAM reported. He added that the move is “part of the strategic plan of the department to promote tolerance, explain message of Islam and course of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), and drawing comparison between Islam and other religions in many issues”.
The dialogue, which is managed by a group of guides at the New Converts’ Section, uses many languages to facilitate communication. It is aimed at conveying the true picture of Islam and remove misgivings about the divine religion.
