The partial report of Justice Nanavati Shah Commission was tabled in the Gujarat assembly yesterday. The Commission points out that the Godhra train carnage in which the S-6 coach of the Sabarmati express was burnt was not an accident but a pre-planned conspiracy. It holds the local Muslims responsible for this tragedy.
Dr. Manzoor Alam, General Secretary of All India Milli Council talked to TwoCircles.net. He pointed out quite frankly that the Commission is not going to say any thing against the chief minister of Gujarat.
“This is what every one has been saying since the day this Commission was constituted by the Modi government but now it is an established fact.”
He said that although even after six years and twelve extension it cared to give only the partial report but I say whenever it will submit the full report it will give a clean chit to Modi.
Dr. Alam said “I am not questioning its credibility. I am questioning the credibility and impartiality of the individual judges.”
He further pointed out that until Narendra Modi is there and until law without order and judicial system without justice delivery is there in the state there is no future and hope for the riot victims.
Abdul Hameed Nomani, the spokesperson of Jamiat Ulema Hind also talked to TCN.
The thousands of the riot victims deserve some thing better than this. This is how he reacted to the findings of the partial Nanavati Commission report.
He sees some political reasons why it presented only the partial report. Considering the fact that the general election is near one should reasonably ask about the timing and the urgency of the Commission to present only the partial report.
He questioned how can it be so inhuman to the riot victims as it even after six years, it didn’t cared to provide them justice.
He pointed out that the Modi administration has completely failed to provide the riot victims rehabilitation and protection from the oppression of police and various Hindutva organizations.
He further said “the Commission is absolutely wrong when it says that Modi has provided the rehabilitation and protection to them. Otherwise tell me why they haven’t yet returned to their homes?”
The leaders of Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) Mr.Aadm Mallik Working President MBT,Majeed Ullah Khan along with MBT workers protested the clean Chit given to Narendra Modi in Godhra train carnage.
TCN talked to Mustafa Kamal Sherwani, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of All India Muslim Forum, a political party.
He pointed out that he needs to study the details of the report before commenting on it.
But he said that if at all the report says that there hasn’t been any evidence from which the utter ignorance of the riot victims their protection and their rehabilitation by the state government can be seen, then it is a blatant lie by the Modi appointed commission.
“How can a judicial commission can say like this? Don’t they have eyes to see the pitiable conditions in which the riot victims are living? They are living under constant fear psychosis.”
The self appointed Commission may give Narendra Modi a clean chit but he has to answer the disturbing questions that the secular India has been asking him since he administered the pogrom of Gujarat 2002.
