Tehran : President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday evening reaffirmed his government’s maximum commitment to Majlis approvals.
Addressing a meeting with members of the Iranian parliament at presidential premises, Ahmadinejad said, “Government and Majlis are completing each other and moving in the same path.”
He stressed that Majlis and government should, by having close cooperation and interaction, move towards materializing revolutionary goals and aspirations.
He also criticized “some people outside Majlis and government” who launched negative propaganda against government’s achievements in order to put its performance under question.
Meanwhile, Majlis speaker Ali Larijani, said for his part, that the meeting between government and Majlis members was a “good chance to make more coordination for serving people more than before.” Larijani stressed that Majlis could help government solve some of the current problems facing the country particularly those in the field of energy and education.
He also said that Majlis could help government make proper planning to restrain inflation, facilitate exports and make more investments.
