Bhubaneswar : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should take the help of the international community at the ongoing G20 summit to put pressure on Pakistan to dismantle the terror infrastructure on its soil, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Rajnath Singh said Thursday.
Singh made the comments while referring to the November 2008 Mumbai terror attack in which 170 people were killed, including 29 foreigners.
Rajnath Singh, who arrived here after campaigning for his party in the tribal districts of Kandhamal and Malkangiri, said the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government at the centre has failed miserably on all fronts, especially in controlling terrorism and price rise.
Citing a study, he said the rate of inflation may go down below zero percent. However, the prices of essential commodities are not failing, he told reporters.
Citing the same study, he said there would be retrenchment of at least 10 million people by the end of April.
Singh accused the central government of not taking adequate precautionary measures to deal with the situation.
