Wellington : New Zealand were 37 for one at lunch, chasing an improbable 617 runs to win the third and final cricket Test to square the series here at the Basin Reserve Monday.
Rahul Dravid grabbed his world record 182nd catch when he took a low catch diving to his left at third slip to dismiss Tim McIntosh off Zaheer Khan and at the break, Martin Guptill was batting on 29 and Daniel Flynn on four.
India virtually batted New Zealand out of the Test by declaring their second innings at 434 for seven with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni scoring a rollicking fifty and Yuvraj Singh a quickfire 40.
