Raipur : A 40-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly beating his parents and son to death in Chhattisgarh, police said Tuesday.
Parasram Sahu killed his father Bhagiram Sahu, 65, mother Kejai Bai, 60, and his only son Hemant Sahu, 19, Sunday night in Sonasilli village of Raipur district.
Sahu had a land dispute with his parents. Backed by several relatives, he beat his father, mother and son to death, Raipur Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar told reporters.
A total of 20 people, including 14 women, have been arrested on charges of helping Sahu commit the crime.
