Speaking in the conference, the media advisor of AMU, Prof. N. A. K. Durrani said, “Whole world is watching Indian electoral scenario. Therefore, we need to guide people for ensuring proper mandate.”

Program convener, Dr. Samadani of AMU Law Department said, “Manifestos issued by various parties have shown four aspects of their ignorance regarding crucial issues confronting Muslims: silence over reservations to Muslims, unequal compensation to those killed in riots, languor in placing Ranganath Mishra Commission report in parliament and lack of assurance for AMU’s minority character.” “The time has come for voters to demand answers to these questions” he emphasized.

Reviewing BJP’s manifesto, Dr Arshi Khan said, “Main characteristic of Indian civilization i. e. ‘unity in diversity’ is no where visible in it. Instead it opts for cultural nationalism” he said.

“Promoting a political party like BJP is not in favour of the country in any case.” Dr. Mohibbul Haq said, “If communalism is spreading in the country, Congress Party should be blamed for it because it was on account of its policies that a water-born snake turned into a cobra.”
