Raipur : Congress leader Ajit Jogi’s political secretary Shailesh Nitin Trivedi was Thursday found unconscious and seriously injured on the roadside in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur constituency.
Trivedi, who was rushed to hospital in Korba with multiple injuries from sticks and iron rods, had gone missing Wednesday night from Bilha area of Bilaspur where he had gone to distribute voting slips to the locals, said sources close to the Jogi family.
Congress candidate Renu Jogi, wife of former chief minister Ajit Jogi, is fighting Bharatiya Janata Party’s Rajya Sabha MP and flamboyant leader Dilip Singh Judeo in Bilaspur.
