Chennai : A 14-member Indian team will participate in the World junior rowing championship at Brieve la Gaillarde, France Aug 5-8, the Rowing Federation of India announced Saturday.
The squad:
JW2 – Pramila Prava Minz (Bow) and Pratima Puhana (Stroke), both Orissa.
JM2 – Munesh Kumar (Stroke) and Yasin Khan (Bow), both Maharashtra.
JW4x – Meena Madhuri Toppo (Bow, Orissa), Priya Devi Changamayum (Manipur), Thara Kurian (Kerala) and Dittymol Varghese (Stroke, Kerala).
JM4x – Sanjay Kholiya (Bow, Andhra Pradesh), Hemba Singh Chingsubam (Madhya Pradesh), Rakesh Raliya (Punjab) and Prasanth Prasadan Nair (Stroke, Kerala).
Coaches – Ismail Baig and Binu MT. Jury: Chacko Kandathil, FISA Umpire and Chairman, Umpiring Commission.
