Delhi building firm peon found murdered, cash missing

New Delhi: An 18-year-old peon of a construction company was found dead in his firm’s Delhi office Tuesday and a safe containing Rs.1.75 lakh was also found missing, police said.

Nanhe Yadav alias Nandan had stayed back alone in Himgiri Constructions office Monday evening after everyone left.

“Tuesday morning when the employees came, they found the shutter open and his body lying in the office with the chord of a mobile charger around his neck,” a police officer said.

“He was strangulated,” the officer said.

Nanhe was working with the company for the past five years and lived in Nagli village in Janakpuri area of west Delhi. He hailed from Bihar.
