“No death has occurred after our medical teams attended to the patients,” he added.

According to medical officers, the deaths have occurred due to use of contaminated water during the rainy season.

The district authorities have rushed in medical teams to different parts of the district to stop the disease from spreading.

“The situation is under control now. We are keeping a close watch on the situation. We have rushed special medical teams to different parts of the district. We have also formed mobile medical teams to check the spread of the disease,” Rath added.
