Ghaziabad : After being stopped for a security check at a multiplex here, about a dozen men barged inside the cinema, ransacked furniture, broke the glass door and beat the security guards who tried to stop them, police said Friday. Six men have been arrested.
The incident occurred Friday afternoon at the Movie World multiplex in Ghaziabad under the Sihani Gate police station of the city.
Around half a dozen men who were allegedly drunk created a scene when the guards tried to do a security check on them. They called some of their friends and all of them ransacked furniture, broke the glass door, beat the security guards and fired in the air, police said.
“On the complaint of the manager we have registered a criminal case against the goons. Six of them have been arrested. We are trying to arrest the others,” said circle officer Rajesh Bharti.
