New Delhi : The government-appointed taskforce to suggest measures for attracting the best of talents to the teaching profession has decided to hold regional consultations with experts within the next two months before firming up its views.
The committee, under the chairmanship of IIT Kanpur Director Prof Sanjay Dhande, met here a few days ago where it was decided that they would take the views of the academics and other experts.
“We are planning regional consultations during the next two months. We intend to meet all stakeholders during the consultation,” a members of the taskforce said.
The taskforce will design a robust, objective and transparent appraisal system for the faculty in the technical, professional and university education system.
