Chennai :With a view to provide comprehensive information to prospective investors on the overall investment climate and opportunities in the state, the Tamil Nadu government Thursday launched a web portal to promote more domestic and foreign investment.
Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin, who heads the Industries portfolio, launched wwww.investingintamilnadu.com, developed by the Guidance Bureau using open source software, here today.
“The website provides complete information to domestic and foreign investors on the opportunities available in the state, besides the government sops to start business,” a state government press release here said.
Among others, the website has provisions of live chatting with officials of Guidance Bureau and Google maps-enabled facility on industrial parks and other similar locations, it said.
