New Delhi : A 19-year-old woman was found dead with her throat slit at her home in east Delhi, police said Friday.
Avantika Verma, a resident of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, was found dead at her rented house in East Delhi’s Madhu Vihar around 8 p.m. Thursday, a police officer said.
“We received a call about a woman found dead with her throat slit. She came to Delhi two months back and we are investigating the case,” he said
Police suspect the involvement of someone known to Avantika.
