Tehran : Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that massive presence of people on February 10 rallies marking 30th anniversary victory of the Islamic Revolution will disappoint enemies.
Marking the anniversary victory of the Islamic Revolution proves the firm determination of the Iranian nation and demonstrates the resistance of this great nation which has remained committed to the aspirations of the Islamic Revolution, said the Supreme Leader.
The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with a group of personnel and commanders of the Iranian Air Force.
Referring to the significant achievements made by the Iranian nation in the past 30 years, the Supreme Leader said marking this great victory is manifestation of the country’s national solidarity.
The Iranian Air Force on February 8, 1979 reaffirmed allegiance to the Late Imam Khomeini, showed its real identity and joined the Iranian nation, said Ayatollah Khamenei.
The fact is that the Islamic Revolution was the root-cause of significant developments, underlined the Supreme Leader.
The Islamic Revolution led to three prominent developments in the Iranian society, Islamic Ummah as well as global equations at large, pointed out Ayatollah Khamenei.
The Islamic Revolution turned the Iranian nation into a determined, powerful, dignified and distinguished nation which left curial impacts on other societies, said the Supreme Leader.
The enemies have confessed to the vital role of Iran in regional and global developments adn this differs from the status of the country before the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Certain big powers still try to ignore the significant role of Iran in global developments but to no avail, underlined the Supreme Leader.
The fact is that no power in the world can dominate the Iranian nation which vehementaly and powerfully administer its own affairs, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
In the past 30 years the big powers have spared no efforts to bring the Iranian nation to its knees but they should understand that this noble nation never yields to global hegemony, said the Supreme Leader.
The economic sanctions imposed on the Iranian nation led to significant scientific progress and achievements such as launching of Omid satellite and the country’s success in the fields of nuclear technology and uranium enrichment which are under monopoly of specific countries, pointed out the Supreme Leader.
Promotion of ideals of the Islamic revolution in the region as well as in the entire globe is among achievements of the Islamic Revolution, said the Supreme Leader, adding that in Gaza and during the 33-day war in Lebanon the armed-to-the-teeth Zionist regime which is supported by the US could not overcome a group of pious and young Muslims which indicates the promotion of thoughts and ideals of the Islamic Revolution among them.
The Islamic Revolution also brought about global developments and changed the geography of global hegemony, said the Supreme Leader, adding that the Islamic Revolution remained committed to its pledges and principles and there is no doubt that the final victory belongs to this noble people of Iran who always continue treading the path of God.
Once again the Iranian nation will actively mark the 30 anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and their massive presence will disappoint the enemies as usual, said the Supreme Leader.
The Iranian Air Force during hard times mainly the sacred defense period has done its best, underlined the Supreme Leader.
During the meeting, the Air Force Commander Brigadier General Hassan Shah-Safi briefed the Supreme Leader on the capabilities in various fields and voiced the readiness of the force to deal with any threat.
