The reports of the DNA tests conducted on the nine other terrorists killed during the Mumbai mayhem will also be sought “so that they could be matched with their family members, if any, in Pakistan,” Dawn News channel said, quoting sources.

The Defence Coordination Committee of the cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, took the decision at a meeting here Monday. The meeting termed as “insufficient” the dossier provided by India pointing to the elements from this country in the Mumbai carnage, and said it would seek further information from India.

Towards this, Pakistan will also seek information about the weapons used by terrorists and details of mobile phone calls made by them “and reportedly taped by Indian security forces”, the channel said.

Pakistan will also demand information regarding the IP addresses from which e-mails were sent to attackers by the alleged perpetrators, it said.

This apart, Islamabad wants access for Pakistani investigators “to the Indians who also were believed to be involved in the attacks in order to interrogate them.”

“There is a strong realisation in Pakistani security agencies that without the help of elements in India, the Mumbai crime could have not been committed,” the channel said.
