Doha, Qatar : Iran’s Minister of Industry and Mines said that unity among Islamic countries and taking common stances against the Zionist regime would thwart the Zionist plots against the Islamic world.
In a meeting with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani here on Monday Ali Akbar Mehrabian by appreciating Qatar stances on Gaza issue said that expansion of ties and cooperation with Islamic countries are on top priority in Iran’s foreign policy.
Mehrabian, who is in Doha to talk with Qatari officials, said that the mutual cooperation between the two countries have developed noticeably in recent years.
The minister expressed Iran’s readiness for joint investment in industrial and mines plans in the fields of steal, cement, food products, oil products, maritime industry as well as other big joint projects adding that Iran has no limitation in expansion of cooperation with its Muslim neighbor of Qatar.
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani by expressing pleasure over developing ties with Iran said that warm and friendly relations with Iran and cooperation in direction of strengthening bilateral ties is very important for Qatar.
He called reciprocal visits of senior officials of both countries very useful for developing ties.
Mehrabian is in Qatar upon an invitation of Qatari Commerce Minister Fahd bin Jassem bin Muhammad Al-Thani.
