JuD leader arrested for Mumbai terror attack

Rawalpindi : Jamaat-ud-Dawah’s (JuD) Rawalpindi chief Nazir Ahmed has been arrested in connection with the Mumbai terror attacks, authorities said Tuesday.

Pakistan authorities have said that this is the seventh arrest in the 26/11 attack probe, Geo TV reported.

Nazir, along with seven Jamaat leaders, was put under house arrest in December last year. Later, their detention was extended by 60 days.

Some 170 people were killed in the Nov 26-29 Mumbai terror carnage.
