Anthony told press that even after the bomb attacks against Mumbai, in Pakistan, there has not been a serious attempt to dismantle the terrorist groups, and that is India’s most important worry.

Thus, he asserted that we will do everything to avoid it and for that were are studying all possible and available options, about which he refused to make comments when journalists asked him.

The Indian Defense leader said that to prevent repetition of infiltrations and that kind of actions, two things are necessary.

In first place, those people, who inspired, led and supported the attackers on November 26 against the economic and financial city should be detained, and the second thing is that more than 30 banned armed Islamic groups that are operating against India through the border in Jammu and Cachemira states have to be dismantled.

India blames Pakistani extremists for the coordinated attacks perpetrated in November by 10 armed men, causing death to 172 people and tension in the relations between both neighboring South Asian nations.

Anthony’s statements follow those by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who accused Pakistan on Tuesday of war hysteria, saying that the attacks on Mumbai should have been supported by some of the official agencies of that neighboring nation.

However, Pakistan denied any intervention of state agencies, rejected the accusation by Singh and warned that India was increasing tension, putting at risk the possibility of carrying out a serious and objective investigation.

Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani asserted in Islamabad that he made constructive proposals for cooperation, and that he started an investigation, while India is encouraging tension unnecessarily.
