Hemchand, 37, who runs a computer-designing business in the Sudarshan Park area of Moti Nagar returned from Gurgaon late Friday to find his wife Seema and their two sons Kunal and Nishant lying dead in their Bindapur house with their throats slit, police said.

Hemchand had to take the help of his tenants, who stay on the ground floor, to enter the house.

On entering, Hemchand found his wife and sons lying on the floor in a pool of blood. There were, however, no signs that the house had been ransacked, police said.

“Moments after we let Hemchand into the house, we heard a scream and rushed upstairs to see three bodies lying on the floor,” said one of the tenants.

Hemchand then called up his in-laws and informed the neighbours and the police about it.

Seema’s father Motilal said that the couple had no enemies nor did they have any marital problems.

“Seema did have some problem with her in-laws because of which the couple shifted to Bindapur about two-and-a-half years ago,” Seema’s father said.

Hemchand’s neighbour Swarna Singh said he had never known the couple to fight or quarrel.

“The family mostly kept to themselves and did not interact much with the neighbours,” Singh said.

The couple were married eight years ago.

The police said that they were interrogating Hemchand and the neighbours.
