Militants kill two alleged U.S. spies in Pakistan

Islamabad : Pakistan’s militants have killed two men allegedly spying for the United States in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region, local media said on Monday.

The bullet-ridden bodies of two brothers were found Monday near the town of Mir Ali in North Waziristan tribal agency along the Afghan border, the News Network International (NNI) news agency quoted local tribe men as saying.

A note wrote in local Pashtun language was found near the bodies, which said that the men killed were spying for the United States and warned that those who work for America would meet the same fate.

This is the latest incident of such killing in Pakistan’s tribal region.

The suspected militants also killed three “spies” in North Waziristan agency last Monday.

The militants have killed many tribesmen, alleging that they spy for the U.S. forces who keep crossing border to strike the militants’ hideouts from Afghanistan.
