Eyewitnesses said Palestinian tanks fired missiles at a gathering of Palestinians in Beit Lahya, north Gaza Strip, killing one and injuring several others.

The killed arrived to hospital in pieces and some of the injured are in critical condition, Palestinian medical sources in Kamal Adwan Hospital said.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Shayboub Al-Shanbari, who was injured when Israeli tanks fired missiles at homes in Beit Hanoun a couple of days ago, died on Monday.

Al-Shanbari was in the intensive care unit of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza for a number of days before he died, medical sources said.

On Monday, Israeli tanks fired three missiles at a home in Al-Nuzha street in Jabalya town in north Gaza, destroying it completely, witnesses said.

Meanwhile, Israeli planes bombarded the house of Fadi Al-Amoudi of Fatah’s military wing, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, and the house of Al-Masri family in Beit Lahya, destroying them and damaging nearby homes, witnesses said.

In addition, Israel continued bombarding what it claims to be tunnels between Gaza Strip and Egypt.

In the meantime, Al-Quds Brigades of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility on Monday of firing rockets at the Israeli settlements of Nir Oz and Nir Isaac as response to the Israeli massacres in Gaza Strip.

Another Palestinian group, Al-Nasser Salah-Eddine Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), said it fired 13 missiles at gathering of Israeli military vehicles in Al-Shujaiya district east Gaza as revenge to the Israeli offensive.

Meanwhile, Hamas’s spokesman Ismail Ridhwan stressed, in a press release, that the movement will not give up any of the rights of the Palestinian people and said that the Israeli aggression targeted thousands of civilians, including women and children, schools, universities, and charity organizations to smash the Palestinian determination.

However, Israel failed to do that through bombarding Gaza as it failed when it imposed a siege on the strip, he added.

Ridhwan emphasized on the importance of halting the Israeli aggression and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the strip, lifting the siege, and opening the borders permanently before discussing a ceasefire.

He demanded suing Israel’s leaders for war crimes against the Palestinian people.
