Berlin, Jan 23, IRNA — Israel has become a rogue state for the Arab and Islamic states in the wake of its brutal military onslaught in Gaza, the Munich-based Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper said in a commentary published Thursday.
“More than ever, Israel has turned into a pariah for the Arabic-Islamic world …,” stressed the editorial written by Rudolph Chimelli.
He pointed out never before there was this little readiness “to accept the Jewish state as a permanent neighbor and partner.”
The utopia of peaceful Arab-Israeli co-existence lies now in the “rubbles of Gaza for years if not for a whole generation,” Chimelli said.
He added the brutal Israeli military incursion will trigger a new arms race in the Middle East.
Chimelli made clear the Gaza war had “strengthened the alliance of Tehran, Damascus, Hizbollah and Hamas.”
Israel’s three-week genocide sparked international outrage and condemnation as millions of people across the globe poured into the streets to voice their protest over the senseless slaughtering in Gaza.
