“Pakistan has no control over its borders (with Iran) and the hooligans are coming and going smoothly,” deputy national police commander Ahmadreza Radan told a press conference Thursday.

The servicemen came under fire at Mirjaveh border point as they were carrying special provisions for border outposts.

Radan said so far all efforts by Iran to regulate border crossings with Pakistan have produced no result.

He said if Pakistan is unable to counter the gangs it can allow Iran “to enter Pakistan’s soil and begin operations to exterminate” them.

The police commander added that whenever Iran gives the “address or the identities of the hooligans to Pakistani officials” they immediately change their location.

Last June militants loyal to the Jundullah terror group kidnapped 15 Iranian policemen and later killed them.

Radan said it is not yet clear that those gangs who killed 12 border guards were connected to the Jundullah group.
