The Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Lodhi Estate in south Delhi announced Wednesday that the Section A of its Class Ninth will remain closed after a girl student’s parents informed the school that she has been tested positive for the swine flu.

“As a precautionary measure we have decided to shut the class section. We have asked all her classmates to report to the hospital if they show some flu like symptoms,” the school management said.

The school has also collected the names and addresses of students who travelled in the school bus along with the girl.

“Students have been distributed leaflets about do’s and dont’s related to swine flu and a list of nearest government health facility available to handle swine flu,” said mother of a Class six student of the school.
