Lucknow : Three Class 12 students in Uttar Pradesh were arrested Friday after they posted obscene clips of a classmate they had sedated, police said.
The students from Muzaffarnagar district, about 350 km from Lucknow, study in a Meerut school. The clips were shot during a function, police said.
“Ankit Saini, Udit Goyal and Ayush Singh have confessed to having committed the crime,” Superintendent of Police (city) Rajiv Mehrotra told IANS over phone.
According to police, the boys offered a cold drink laced with sedatives to the girl and later shot some clips they posted along with her phone number. When the girl started receiving calls on her mobile, she informed her parents.
The students have been booked under Section 292 (obscenity), Section 500 (defamation), Section 294 (obscene acts) of the Indian Penal Code.
