Patna: Religious and social organization Imarat-e-Shariah is helping 1200 families who have been affected by the Maoist violence in Bihar.
Talking to TwoCircles.net, Maulana Anisur Rahman, director of Imarat-e-Shariah said that they are helping 1200 families regardless of their religious belief.
The relief team of Imarat Shariah is visiting Khagaria, Araria, Banka, Bhagalpur, Saharasa, East Champaran, and Dharbhanga to identify and provide relief.
Relief includes clothes, utensils, and cash totaling about Rs. 5000 per family.
Maulana Anisur Rahman informed TCN that people affected by Maoist violence are very poor.
