By IRNA,
Tehran : Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proposed formation of an international front against Zionism.
The president made the proposal during his speech at the 4th International Conference for Support of Palestine, the Model of Resistance, and Gaza, the Victim of War Crimes which opened Wednesday morning in Tehran with the address of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
President Ahmadinejad said an anti-Zionism international front should put mobilizing and rendering support to Gaza and Palestine at the top of its agenda and earnestly work to take Zionist war criminals before an eligible court.
He stressed the world looked at Zionism not as a religion but as a “manner” full of evil and satanic objectives and means and said the basic philosophy of the Zionist regime’s existence was to scatter corruption, aggression and expansionism throughout the world.
He believed holding of a free referendum was the only solution to the crisis of Palestine.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ahmadinejad said that as long as even one centimeter of the Palestinian land remained under the authority of the Zionist regime, this will be regarded by the world as the continuation of occupation and corruption.
80 delegations from different world countries are participating in the two-day event.
