Chennai : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi’s son M.K. Stalin, who is also state rural development minister, was Friday promoted to the post of deputy chief minister.
The announcement came a day after DMK chief Karunanidhi’s elder son M.K. Azhagiri was sworn in as cabinet minister in the Manmohan Singh government.
