Rajouri:The family of Gujjar girl, Rukhsana who won great commendation for her valorous act of killing a militant after a group of them attacked her house, today migrated from the home village in Shadra Sharief area of Rajouri, fearing retaliation from the militants.
Rukhsana hit the headlines across the country early this week after police claimed that she along with her brother and other family members killed a dreaded Lashkar commander when he barged in their house along with his two associates.
The family of Rukhsana and her close relatives shifted from the village to Rajouri town where district administration made arrangements for their temporary stay at Dak Banglow. Ruksana did not accompany the family as she is out in National Capital Delhi on the invitation of a private channel.
The eleven family members that include five children left their village early this morning in police security. On reaching Rajouri they were asked to stay in the Dak Banglow.
Since the day of incident, the family of Rukhsana had been demanding police safety and shelter as they fear that the militants might attempt to avenge the killing of their associate.
However, latest reports said that the family members were later shifted to district Police lines.
