Two Haryana ministers lose assembly poll

Chandigarh, Oct 22 (IANS) Two Congress ministers in the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government lost their assembly seats in the results of the Haryana state elections declared Thursday.

Transport Minister Mange Ram Gupta lost from the Jind assembly seat to the Indian National Lok Dal’s (INLD) Hari Chand Middha by over 7,800 votes.

Education Minister A.C. Chaudhary lost the Faridabad NIT (new industrial township) seat, adjoining the national capital New Delhi, to independent candidate Shiv Charan Tejpal by 7,875 votes.
