Bhopal : A 50-year-old activist of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) died here Monday after a gun went off accidentally, police said.
Naresh Motwani was cleaning the gun when it went off accidentally around 11 a.m. at Saraswati Vidhya Mandir in Kotra-Sultanabad locality here.
“RSS takes out Path Sanchalan (parade) every year on Dussehra during which its cadre carries arms. Motwani was cleaning the gun for the same. He was supposed to take part in the parade,” Superintendent of Police Jaideep Prasad told IANS.
