New Delhi : No more construction of religious places on public land, the Supreme Court said in an order Tuesday.
A bench of Justice Dalbir Bhandari and Justice M.K. Sharma also asked the central government and various state governments to take a decision on the fate of hundreds of thousands of existing religious places built on public land on a case-to-case basis.
